We’ve compiled a list of Arts District happy hours and other top spots in Dallas to grab an after-work drink this month. Dallas Arts District: Your Day to Night Destination

No one said it was all work and no play. The Arts District is Dallas is a hidden gem for nightlife, featuring some of the best happy hour specials, walkable locations, and arts-driven destinations. If you prefer more intimate settings for everyday drinks, fear not. Here’s what’s on tap around the Arts District and your best bet for beverages and crafty cocktails.

Flora Street Cafe

Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. enjoy Chef Stephan Pyles’ most creative concoctions to-date, at reasonable happy hour prices. This highly anticipated new Arts District hotspot and the accompanying cuisine are equally innovative, and at times almost too pretty to eat. Be sure to try the signature drink—Flora.

Jorges Tex Mex

Did someone say Margarita Monday? That’s right, less than 10 minutes away from Trammell Crow Center is the mecca of Tex-Mex, serving $5 margs all Monday long. Frozen or on the rocks, their famous margaritas are sure to shake up your Monday blues.

Lark on the Park

Any excuse to hang out near Klyde Warren Park is a good one—but drinking on the cheap is by far the best one. Happy hour here means $4 select draft beers and $7 select wines every weekday from 4-7 p.m.

Proof + Pantry

If you dream of champagne and oysters, but have a beer and buffalo-wing budget, head to Proof + Pantry on Thursdays from 4 to 11 p.m. Enjoy the exquisite flavors and affordable price this hotspot has to offer.

Tei An

Located right near Trammell Crow Center in the One Arts Plaza is Dallas’ own authentic Japanese Soba House. Head there on Tuesdays to find your zen from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with free edamame with purchase of a $5 saki sangria or $5 Kirin draft.

The Tipsy Alchemist

Why limit happy to just an hour? Starting at 5 p.m. this showy cocktail lounge doesn’t skimp on presentation—expect plenty of dry ice and gaudy garnishes. Behind the glamour, though, you’ll find some pretty stellar drinks. During happy hour, score a selection of ever-changing $6 “creative cocktails” that are much more delicious than their price point would indicate.

The first Wednesday of each month III Forks offers a Sommelier for a Day opportunity, where guests can help select featured wines for the upcoming month. Patrons will sample six wines selected by the Wine Director, accompanied with hor d’oeuvres crafted by Executive Chef Chris Vogeli.

Les Dames d’Escoffier International presents: A Dame Good Party

The foodie-focused night features approximately 35 food and beverage stations from some of North Texas’ top female top chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, farmers, artisanal cheese and spirits makers, pastry chefs, and mixologists. And not to mention, all the proceeds go to the LDEI scholarships fund; there’s really not much more you could ask for. And as the name itself suggest, it’ll be a dame good time!

Bacon and Beer Classic
