For those lucky enough to work in the Arts District, there’s more than enough to keep you entertained after work with a variety of events and arts. For those who don’t work in the area, we invite you to explore the amenities we have in our backyard!
The Dallas Arts District is a cultural hub that provides exciting sites, eats, and events for the Dallas area. Activities range from inspirational exhibits in the DMA to amped up concerts in Klyde Warren Park. Something is always bound to be happening, and the month of March will not fall short of your Arts District expectations. Discover some events that you can attend this month that are great for date nights, family nights, or pure entertainment.
Dallas Museum of Art
The Dallas Museum of Art, opened in 1984 by the Dallas Arts Association, is a celebration of art, history, and culture. The Dallas Art Association dates back to 1903 and was developed to support the visual arts in Dallas. The first exhibitions were held in the Dallas Public Library in the early 1900s, and has been growing ever since. The DMA now holds a number of exhibitions every year, many of which are open to the public, and displays pieces of art from around the world. The events taking place this March include:
February 27- April 16 – Young Masters Exhibition
March 12-July 16 – México 1900–1950: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco, and the Avant-Garde
March 25 – Bancroft Family Concerts: Brahms Trio

Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center
The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect I.M. Pei and internationally-renowned acoustician Russell Johnson. It is home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and holds a variety of concerts throughout the year. The centerpiece of the building is the McDermott Concert Hall, which is a european “shoe box” style theater. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the upcoming events this March:

The AT&T Performing Arts Center houses The Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, Annette Strauss Square and Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park. Nasher Sculpture Center
The Nasher Sculpture Center opened in 2003 and is home to one of the finest collections of temporary and modern artwork in the world. There is a rotation of exhibitions from the Nasher family and other artists, so there is always something new and exciting. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch spot or a fun date night location, the Nasher Museum has you covered. Below are some events you may want to check out this month:
