In the Texas heat, nothing beats a refreshing cocktail. So we’ve rounded up the top contenders for the best summer cocktails in the Dallas Arts District. Try a few or try them all! Let us know which ones are your favorites:

Flora (Flora Street Café)

This summery sip is one of Flora’s signature floral-focused cocktails. The light and crisp refreshment features junipero, lemon verbena, and creme de violette. Paradise (SavoR)

For those dreaming of palm trees and coconuts, this drink is a mini vacation in itself. Sip on Paradise at Savor, located right at Klyde Warren Park, with your eyes closed and you’ll be transported to a tropical beach. Made with Don Q Coco, coconut lime oleo, pineapple, and citrus this drink brings a full flavor to your beach-side fantasies. Don’t be surprised if you start humming island tunes while enjoying this one…

Cards on the Table (Proof and PantrY)

If you’re looking for something with a unique blend of flavors, Cards on the Table may be your new go-to. Strawberry tequila, lemon juice, and agave nectar keep this drink sweet, while the cardamom and black pepper give it a little kick. The contrast of these flavors is surprisingly delicious! The sweet and the spice perfectly complement each other, balancing the drink with every sip. Proof + Pantry is located within One Arts Plaza off Routh Street.

Stinky Inky (TortacO)

Don’t let the name of this one fool you, there’s no stink involved with this pink drink! The  blueberry-strawberry puree is what gives this drink its signature color as well as the sweetness in every sip. The sweet, sugary taste of this drink is offset and balanced by the citric tastes of fresh squeezed lime and lemon juices. Made with dark rum and Espadin Mezcal Joven, this drink is just a tasty good time. Enjoy frozen or on the rocks!

Apples and Oranges (LARK on the ParK)

Here’s something a little different for those with adventurous taste buds. A bourbon based drink! The Apples and Oranges drink blends Knob Creek bourbon, apple brandy, maraschino, orange cordial, lemon and egg white. Yes, you read that right. The egg white gives this drink a silky, almost creamy texture, while keeping its light consistency. Now, we know that bourbon is not typically considered a Summer drink, but the splashes of lemon, orange and maraschino brighten the flavors, giving it a surprisingly smooth, sunny vibe.

Cheers y’all!
